The wordplay in the journal title translates as "All of mathematics" as well as “All is Mathematics” or "Mathematics is all."

We espouse the idea that mathematics is a tight organization of formal and axiomatic systems, rules and interrelationships miraculously essential in various fields of human intellectual heritage, and additionally endowed with inner beauty.

Research papers

Papers submitted for publication should reflect at least some aspects of the mottos reflected in the name of the journal. Papers should be original and high quality, previously unpublished contributions in mathematics which have at least some additional values from the following list:

- they show how ideas in seemingly different branches can be unified with an economical and illuminating point of view,

- they are well written and usable papers that are conducive to further exploitation,

- they clearly underline mathematical foundations of work that goes under names other than mathematics, such as the sciences.

An example of the latter is the field of optics, an area that has solid mathematical foundation; or climate models; conservation of energy and relationship with Lagrange equations, to name a few.

By default use of methods in one mathematical branch in another, such as for instance applications of topology or set theory in algebra, etc. do qualify.

Mathematics that is a driving force of ideas in social sciences, linguistics, history and society also qualify.

Papers that contain unsolved problems, conjectures and ideas that have the properties mentioned also qualify.

Mathematics education

Limited space is reserved also for high quality papers on mathematics education. While the "feeling good education" discussions do not qualify, good research papers in education reflecting the nature of mathematics do qualify. Examples are papers discussing crucial aspects of communicating good mathematics to students, such as through books, lectures, as well as cultural sides of mathematical phenomenon.

Submission of papers:

Copies of papers for publication in MO(E) in triplicate with the author's address and e-mail address should be sent to the address below or, preferably,  e-mailed in a PDF format.

We encourage referees to submit their opinions within 3 months from receiving the papers, and in exceptional cases up to 6 months, which should ensure a fast publication of papers that are accepted.

If the paper is accepted for publication, the author must submit the corresponding electronic file, preferably in TeX or its variants, with prescribed publication features. The author will receive a number of copies (reprints) of his/her published paper.

Subscription: Send inquiries to the Managing Editor. There may be small page charges for accepted papers, until the quantity of subscriptions is large enough to support the journal publication by itself.
